Final journey for Justice Ajose-Adeogun begins today

Funeral arrangements for late Justice of the Court of Appeal, Lagos, Justice Olatunji Ajose-Adeogun begins today in Lagos.
The legal icon died on December 13, 2017 at the age of 93 after an age-related illness. He was the Baba Oba Agba Ilu of Lagos state and Vice Chairman of Eminent Lagos Persons Group headed by Senator H.A.B. Fasinro. The group meets every Sunday to assess the state of affairs in Lagos and Nigeria.
Generally described as a man of high integrity and transparency, Justice Ajose-Adeogun, one of the distinguished legal luminaries from Lagos, also served as Lagos Public Complaints Commissioner from 1990 to 1996.
The burial programmes begin with service of songs today at 5pm at the deceased’s residence 27, Alake Onile-ere Crescent, Gbagada Phase 2, Lagos. It will be followed tomorrow with Christian wake at 5 pm at Hoares Memorial Church Hall, Herbert Macaulay Road, Yaba, Lagos.
Funeral service holds next tomorrow at 10 in the morning at the Cathedral of St. Jude, Freeman Street, Ebute-Meta, Lagos. Interment follows after the service at Ikoyi Cemetery while reception will be held immediately after at Harbour Point, Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos.
