The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board on Saturday released the results of 1,792,719 candidates who sat for this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
However, the examination body withheld the results of 34,120 for various offences bordering on examination malpractice.
Prof Is-haq Oloyede, JAMB Registrar, made the disclosure to newsmen on Saturday in Abuja.
Oloyede advised candidates to use the phone numbers they used to enroll to text RESULT to 55019, saying that there was no need to approach any Computer Based Test (CBT), or cyber café to check the results.
“Those who were absent got their registration cancelled or had their results withhold would be duly informed,” he said.
