Diaspora Multi Dynamics Limited (DMDL) has donated a unique ultra modern public convenience as well as a hi-tech laundry to Iju/Ijoko/ Ilogbo LCDA of Ogun state in order to assist in solving the challenge of the residents.
The project which was championed by Dr Cajetan Ikwuonu is to mark a beginning of other similar project execution in Nigeria.
The event which was attended by the top officers of the LCDA together with traditional chiefs saw the community dwellers jubilating over the successful project execution in their area.
Commenting on the partnership between the NGO and LCDA, the Executive Chairman of Iju /Atan/Ilogbo LCDA, Hon. Yakubu Jamiu Olalekan said he is overwhelmed over the commissioning of the centre being the pilot scheme of the vision of the Diaspora Multi Dynamics Limited.
He traced the concord between the two parties to 2016 when Diaspora Multi Dynamics Limited was commissioned by the Ado-Odo/ Ota/Ijako –ota, Atan- Ota to carry out three similar projects within the local Government Area. Hear him: to the glory of Almighty Allah Ijako-Ota centre is ready for use.”We are grateful to God that the LCDA is benefitting from this project.”
Lamenting on the environmental hazard posed by open defecation in public, Olalekan disclosed that the effects cannot be overemphasised, noting that the government is putting everything in place to discourage this obnoxious practice. The evidence is the project being commissioned at the site. Hon. Yakubu implores members of the community to make good use of the facility.
On integrity of their partners, Diaspora Multi Dynamics Limited is an investment company of highly experienced Nigerian professionals most of whom are in the Diaspora physically but at home spiritually. He therefore pleaded for caution when using the facility.
