Firm pledges support for Nigeria’s GDP, to boost manufacturing

A Chinese Firm sited in Abuja, Sinoria FABCOM, has pledged to increase the Nigerian economic standard, stating that it would contribute in growing the country’s Gross Domestic Products, GDP.

To achieve this feat, the firm said it intends to increase Nigeria’s manufacturing industries, especially in becoming number one in Africa.

During a tour of their facilities in Kuje, recently the Deputy Managing Director of the firm, Mr. Jackie Hui, who spoke on while they are establishing factories in Nigeria, said: “We have sole targets which are to increase the job positions to Nigerian people.

“Secondly, we want to increase the living standards of Nigerian people; thirdly, we want to increase the Nigerian economic standard, the Gross Domestic Products, GDP and fourthly, we intend to increase the Nigeria’s manufacturing industry to be number one in Africa.”

He noted that their investment in Nigeria is an eye opener as they have seen firsthand, the huge potential of Nigeria in terms of human and raw material resources.

He said the process of contributing their quota to the development of Nigeria’s economy is already manifesting as the firm has over 200 Nigerians working under its factory.

“We shall also increase the figure to 500 Nigerians as we hope to establish branches in other states like Lagos, if that is a big factory, then we may just have up to 1000 workers only for the factory. But in the cement factory, we have up to 1,500 staff.

On partnership with some of the top cement manufacturing and construction companies situated in Nigeria, Hui stated that Sinoria FABCOM has already worked with the likes of Dangote, BUA Group, and even Lafarge for almost 20years.

The company, which is the only manufacturer of stone coated roofing tiles in the West Africa, sources almost 70% of its raw materials in Nigeria.
