Fish out attackers of Kwararafa village, Ishaku tasks security agents

Taraba state governor, arc. Darius Ishaku on Sunday tasked security operatives to urgently fish out perpetrators of few days attack on innocent people in Kwararafa village in Gossol local government area of the state.


Ishaku, in a press statement signed by his senior  special adviser on media and publicity, Mr Bala Dan-Abu and a copy made available to Blueprint in Jalingo said governor Ishaku was unhappy with frequent resort to violence by people who have lived together for decades as good neighbours.


The statement explained  that this is never the right solution for disagreements among people and communities.


The statement noted that the Governor,  has at different point sued for peace among residents of the state.


The statement maintained that governor Ishaku condemned the out break of crisis in Kwararafa village, in Gassol Local Government Area of the state over the weekend.

 According to the statement, whatever the issues that may be involved and whatever the depth of the feelings and sentiments that those issues generate,  dialogue remains the best approach for achieving peaceful resolution. 

“Governor Ishaku is seriously unhappy and deeply concerned about the turn of events in Kwararafa.


 Although, he has directed security agencies to intervene to restore peace quickly” statement said.

The statement maintained that the governor advised residents of Kwararafa village to cooperate with security agencies deployed to the area to facilitate the quick return of normalcy to the village.
