Forte Oil leads gainers as stock market sheds N43bn

Forte Oil Thursday led gainers during the day, appreciating by N2.45 kobo to close at N27.40 kobo, Vitafoam Nigeria Plc  followed with a gain of N0.28 kobo to close at N3.85 kobo, Oando Plc appreciated by N0.15 kobo to close at N4.95 kobo, Zenith Bank Plc increased by N0.10 kobo to close at N20.50 kobo while Sterling Bank gained N0.07 kobo to close at N2.55 kobo

Mobil Oil on the contrary  topped losers chart, dropping by N8.00 to close at N170.00, Cap Plc trailed with a loss of N3.70 kobo to close at N33.70 kobo, Dangote Cement fell by N1.00 to close at N189.00, Unilever Nigeria PLC down by N0.70 kobo to close at N35.00 and Dangote Flour Nigeria Plc declined by N0.50 kobo to close at N8.00.

The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) tradding result showed that Market Capitalisation of listed equities declined by N43 billion or 0.39 per cent to N11.100 trillion from N11.143 trillion reported the previous  day. 

The NSE All Share Index depreciated by 115.61 basis points to 29553.12 points from 29668.73 points reported on Wednesday.

Investors traded a turnover of 499.087 million shares worth N2.894 billion in 4133 deals against 542.579 million shares valued at N5.662 billion exchanged hand the previous day in 4146 deals.
