Forum to politicians: Betray Kwankwaso, pay dearly in 2027

The Chairman Arewa Youth Forum in Southern Nigeria, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadanci, has said that any politician who used the National leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s popularity to get elected, but derails from his political ideology will pay for it in 2027.

Galadanci sent the warning during a media briefing the forum organised in Kano recently.

The briefing was organised to enlighten politicians on the importance of patriotism, especially with new governments in place.

Addressing journalists, Alhaji Galadanci said many politicians in the NNPP used Kwankwaso’s popularity during the 2023 general elections to get elected into power.

“Nigerian politicians are unpredictable. They can go to any length to get elected, but unfortunately derail after being elected.

“We are calling those politicians, especially members of the House of Representatives and state assemblies who used Kwankwaso’s popularity to get elected to not betray him. If they do so, the masses would vote them out in 2027.

“In terms of patriotism Kwankwaso is second to none. No politician cares for his people in the country as Kwankwaso. Those of us who live in the southern part of the country know what I am talking about.

“When Peter Obi was the governor of Anambra state, he ordered every northerner to carry an ID card. In response, Kwankwaso asked every Igbo man in Kano to have a uniform for identification.

“When our people were arrested in Lagos our forum did everything to free them. We paid for huge fines to set them free. We didn’t wait for any politicians or a government to intervene.”

Galadanci said the forum has more than eight thousand members, saying it would join forces in 2027 to make sure Kwankwaso is elected president.

He said: “We have more than eight thousand members so far. And the forum is doing everything necessary to protest the rights of northerners in the southern part of the country.

“In 2027, we will join forces to make sure that Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is elected president.”

However, Alhaji Galadanci warned politicians against pushing the children of the poor into drug abuse, urging them to fear Allah the Almighty.
