Foundation donates solar water system to pastoral community

As part of efforts to end the lingering clashes between farmers and herders, a charity organisation under the auspices of PZ cussons foundation donated two solar power water supply system to  a pastoral community in Ngoshi grazing reserve in Mayo belwa local government of Adamawa state.

Speaking at the handing over of the project to the benefiting community, the chairman board of trustees of the foundation and former minister of health prof. Eyitayo lambo expressed concerned over the lingering crisis between farmers and herders.

He further explained that, the project will go a long way to compliment states and federal government efforts to prevent frequent clashes between farmers and herders in the state.

Eyitayo further expressed optimism that the benefiting community will imbibe maintenance culture and use the facilities for the purpose it is meant for.

On his part, Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri represented by the permanent secretary ministry for livestock development Abubakar Mahmud thanked the foundation for their humanitarian gesture and called on others to emulate the foundation.
