Keffi Development Foundation (KDF) has commiserated with the family, Keffi Emirate Council and the entire people of Keffi over the death of the Emir of Keffi, Alhaji Muhammadu Chindo Yamusa (II).
The Foundation also commiserated with the government and the state council of chiefs over the demise of the emir.

Blueprint recalls that the emir passed on last Friday in his home after a brief illness.
According to a statement issued by the President of the Foundation, Alhaji Abubakar Madaki, the loss of the amiable late emir was not only a loss to the emirate, but to the entire Nasarawa state and the country in general.
The foundation prayed for the repose of the life of the late traditional ruler, while praying God to grant the family and the people of the emirate the fortitude to bear the loss.
It also condemned the pelting of the Governor of Nasarawa state, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, with stone by those it described as “hugs, hoodlums and miscreants” in Keffi.
The Governor was attacked when he arrived at the palace to participate in the burial rites of the late emir last Friday.

It said: “We wish to state clearly that the perpetrators of this heinous act must be brought to justice, as their act is completely alien to the culture and tradition of the good and peaceful people of Keffi.
“We are calling on the parents to be vigilant and watch their children on who they associate with as Keffi is witnessing mass influx of people from other states with different cultural and traditional background.”
