Foundation tasks Nigerians on peaceful coexistence

An international Non-Governmental Organisation, Light of Peace Foundation for Africa (LIPAF) has stressed the need for a peaceful coexistence among the different ethnic groups in Nigeria.

The organisation said it was undergoing a nationwide sensitisation tour with a view to meeting all the major stakeholders of Nigeria state in order to chat a new course for peace in most of the troubled regions of the country.

The Founder/President of LIPAF Evangelist Samuel Umanah Sampson specifically mentioned the contributions of His Eminence Alhaji (Dr) Sa’ad Abubakar III, Sultan of Sokoto and the Chairman Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, His Royal Majesty, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, Esama of Benin Kingdom, Chief Pius Anyim, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom state Chief (Dr) Godswill Obot Akpabio.
