Four APC governors commission road projects in Jigawa


Jigawa state Governor, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar said his administration has constructed 47 new road projects and completed 42 inherited roads across the length and breath of the state since inception.

Badaru stated this Thursday while playing host to three Governors of Ekiti, Mr Kanode Fayomi, Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau state and Alhaji Mai Mala Buni the acting National chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Governor of Yobe state 

Badaru explained that he constructed 42 uncompleted 716.5 km roads. While his government constructed 47 new roads with 1537kms long.

.According to Badaru that the 42 inherited road projects were given at the cost of N88 billion. Saying when he came in 2015, N7 billion discount was given by the contractors. “we constructed them at N56 billion .

The Plateau state governor, Right Honourable Simon Bako Lalong, chairman Northern Governors Forum commissioned the 26.7km road from Taura to Garki worth 2.2billion

While Governor Kayode Fayomi, the chairman APC Governors Forum commissioned the 39.1km road from Garki danzomo to kwanar medu worth 3.3Billion.

While Governor Mai Mala Buni, the acting national chairman of APC commissioned Gumel township roads among others.
