FRSC calls for dualisation of Keffi-Akwanga roads

The unit commander in charge of Keffi, a neibouring town to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr Joseph Johnson Ameh has called on the federal government to fast- track the dualization of Keffi/ Akwanga road.

Ameh made the call Monday in a chat with Blueprint. He urged the motoring public to cultivate the culture of obeying traffic rules and regulations.

He reiterated his commitment to continue to sensitise motorists in Keffi and environs to avoid traffic infractions and other related offences.

He warned Okada riders against route violations adding that efforts were on to tackle the menace of Okada operators in the area.

Ameh also tasked drivers to maintain 100 speed limits while plying the road just as he said he would not fold his arms and allow violation of traffic rules.

The Keffi FRSC head implored the motoring public to avoid using worn out tyres, especially during the rainy season. He also   called for proper usage of functional wipers, break and light system.

He enjoined motorists to stop dangerous driving, overtaking and use of phone while driving just as he tasked road users to always abide by the high way code.
