Frustration propelled me to join Anambra 2021 guber race – APC aspirant

An All Progressive Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirant for Anambra state November 6, 2021 election, Chief Ben Etiaba, has said he joined the race to govern the state because he was frustrated over her current socio-economic status.

Etiaba, a charterred accountant and son of the first female governor of Anambra State, Dame Virgy Etiaba, stated this at APC’s state party secretariat in Awka, while declaring his intention to run for the state number one seat.
“I am into politics because I am frustrated. I am sure you too are frustrated. I am frustrated because this is not the country our founding father handed over to us. I am frustrated because our state healthcare system, agriculture, infrastructure, others are not yet what they should be. I am frustrated as most Nigerians are frustrated.

“It is not enough to  be criticizing those in government and getting angry. You need to come out and make the required  positive changes . I have decided to stand up to run for the office of the governor to put smiles on the faces of Anambra people . I want to make a different. I want to bring the positive change. Anambra state needs a leader who has the capacity; who knows what to do, how to do it and when to do it,” he said.

According to him, if voted to power, his administration would be that of a servant leader, restore confidence in governance, and drive the state to greater height because he had the capacity to do that.
“I want  to bring a difference in governance . You cannot  continue to cry about poor leadership and you believe you know what to do and cannot come out to do it . I have come to be governor because I knew we lack quality leaderships. I believe I have a greater agenda,” he added.
