Ex-deputy Governor of Edo state and a governorship aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), has lauded President Muhammadu Buhari over his appointment of Prof. Ibrahim Gambari as his Chief of Staff.
Odubu said the appointee was an accomplished academic, diplomat per excellence and an internationally acclaimed officer of the United Nations.
He said, “With the appointment, Mr. President has indeed demonstrated his commitment to bring further verve to his administration’s desire to harness the best of our human resources to deal with the rising challenges of governance currently besetting our dear nation.
“I am extremely delighted to note that Professor Ibrahim Gambari’s appointment is well deserved and clearly founded on merit.
“I have no iota of doubt that Prof will bring to bear his immeasurable goodwill, enormous wealth of knowledge and experience on the administration.
“I am also convinced that he will assist Mr. President and the federal government to deliver in a most profound manner the dividends of good governance to the Nigerian people.”
