Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, has announced the appointment of his media aides.
The speaker in a communication to that effect, made public on Thursday, said Mr. Olanrewaju Lasisi has been appointed his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdulahi Krishi as Chief Press Secretary, and Mr. Dele Anofi as Special Assistant on Print Media.
Until his appointment, Mr. Lasisi, 46, was the parliamentary correspondent of Channels Television with over 10 years experience reporting activities of the House of Representatives. He was also the producer and presenter of a weekly television programme, “The Gavel”, which focuses on the Nigerian parliament.
Krishi, 33, was Daily Trust Newspaper correspondent in the National Assembly with 6 years experience reporting activities of the House of Representatives and the Senate. He was Assistant Politics Editor at Daily Trust between 2014 and 2015, while Anofi, 52 was The Nation Newspaper’s Politics Correspondent in the House of Representatives.

Other appointments include Special Assistant on New Media – Bukola Ogunyemi, Special Assistant on Electronic and Broadcast Media – Kunle Somoye, and Special Assistant on Visual Communication/ Official Photographer – Ayo Adeagbo.
The speaker said the appointments were with immediate effect.
