Gidado passes confidence vote on MACBAN president

Zonal chairman of Miyetti Allah Kautal hore, Alhaji Gidado Idris Bebeji, has thrown his weight behind the National President of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association (MACBAN), Alhaji Muhammad Kiruwa (Ardo Zuru), and called on members of the association to give their full support and allowing him to enable him to continue with “his good leadership style.”
Bebeji, who made this known in Abuja yesterday while addressing newsmen, said the “leadership of Kiruwa is one among the best in the history of the association; hence the vote of confidence on him.”
He said Kiruwa had re-organised MACBAN “more than any other leaders and he has continued to hold the association in the best possible way without having issues with members or other Fulani associations.”
The zonal chairman also called on Fulani pastoralists to “come out enmasse and collect their permanent voter cards (PVCs),” adding that “anybody that gets his or hers should keep it safe and not sell it out to any politician that approaches them.”
He further said that the card “is their power to vote in their choice candidates during elections,” noting that the “card is an asset for them which can be hidden under their boxes after the elections proper.”
