Give us Germany or France, Rohr boasts

Super Eagles gaffer Gernot Rohr has sensationally declared he will be happy for his “ambitious outsiders” to be drawn against defending champions Germany or France in the first round of the 2018 World Cup.
Nigeria will certainly draw a top seed and both Germany and France are such for Russia 2018.
Rohr was born in Germany, but he played and coached in France for many years and so his “Franco-German” nationality.
While millions of Super Eagles fans will dread a first round clash with either world No 1 Germany or France, who are ranked ninth in the world by FIFA, Rohr has declared he will be pleased to take either team on at the Mundial.
“Personally, I would like to play against Germany or France,” he stated.
“My expectations are to be in a group of strong teams, being in pot 4 we are naturally ambitious outsiders.”
Nigeria lost to Germany by the odd goal when both teams clashed in 1998, while the Eagles beat France 1-0 in a friendly in 2009, before they lost 2-0 to the 1998 world champions at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
He further said his team are not afraid of any team as they have continued to improve with every game.
Rohr departed Wednesday for tomorrow’s draw in Moscow, Russia, from France.
