Gombe: APC urges supporters to obtain voter card

Few days to end the continuous voter registration exercise across the country, All Progressives Congress (APC) Gubernatorial aspirant in Gombe state, Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya has called on party supporters to obtain their voters card.
Alhaji Yahaya poke to newsmen shortly after commissioning his campaign office in Gombe.
The campaign office is named after President Muhammad Buhari.
He pointed out that, with the voters card, people can elect leaders of their choice and those that can be fair and just in their leadership.
The aspirant said, with the current economic hardship in Gombe state under the administration of the Dankwambo led PDP administration, it is certain that by 2019, Gombe state will become APC state.
He said, Gombe state, being dependent on federation account and the people are mostly farmers, there is the need to focus more on farming that will assist towards reducing the rate of unemployed of youths in the state.
“Defection, as far as I’m concern was for those people that are really not committed.
They are not principled.
They are only there but deep inside are not really APC.
So, the masses are those that made the backbone and the success of Mr.
President and they are still with him”.
He advised other contestants and party supporters to consider politics as sport and a game and in every sport there has to be a winner and a loser.
He said once you are in the same party, you have to go along with your party members.
He provided 15 motor vehicles to party chairmen in the 11 local government areas and the 3 senatorial zones.
He also provided 115 motorcycles to each ward chairman and 12 to the secretaries of the local governments
