Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Gombe state chapter has tasked government both at the state and federal level to prioritise the security and safety of citizens across the country.
Gombe state CAN Secretary Reverend Bulama Bulus stated this during a meeting organised by Advocacy Centre for Development in collaboration with Global Rights to remember and mourn the victims of violent killing across the country.
Also speaking, the Chairman of the Association of Non-Governmental Organisation Gombe state and Executive Director of Advocacy Centre for Development, Mallam Ibrahim Yusuf, commended the government of Gombe, security agencies in the state for ensuring the safety of lives and property in the state
