A replica of that recently engulfed the Edo sttate chapter of the ruling All Progressives ( APC), played out in Gombe state Thursday with alleged expulsion of Hon Usman Bello Kumo from the by Kumo east ward executives on alleged anti – activities.

The alleged dismissal of Hon Kumo currently represents Akko federal constituency in the House of Representatives from the , is contained in a letter signed by the ward Chairman, Musa Barade, and 20 others .

This is as the federal lawmaker in a swift reaction, described the action as and alleged Senator Danjuma Goje (APC Gombe Central) to be fueling the ’s in Kumo east ward.

Kumo as alleged  in the letter dated April 1, 2020 and addressed to the National Chairman of the , Comrade Adams Oshiomhole , was expelled from the following petitions against him by faithful in the ward and the state.

The letter reads in part: “Upon receipt of against Hon Kumo , the ward executive committee constituted and inaugurated a seven man facts finding committee to investigate the allegations leveled against him.

“That the anti-party activities of Hon Usman Bello Kumo against the election of Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya at the 2019 general elections as governor of Gombe state is an infamous conduct, cannot be tolerated and its contrary to the provisions of the party’s as enshrined in article 21, paragraph A(1) and (2) 2014 as amended.

“That the car by Hon Usman Bello Kumo to an interloper, one Garba Inuwa Gona, is not even a constituent of Akko Federal Constituency, simply because he insulted our party leader, Senator Muhammad Danjuma Goje on Progress Radio, Gombe , clearly demonstrated his indiscipline, immorality and a total disrespect to the leadership of the party, the Governor of Gombe State and would certainly have an adverse effect on the progress, peace and stability of our great party.

“That Hon Usman Bello Kumo is hereby dismissed/ expelled from the All Progressives ( APC ) with immediate effect.

“The party urged local and state executives to adopt their resolutions and further recommend to the National Executive for ratification.”

But reacting to the alleged expulsion in an exclusive interview with Blueprint Thursday, Hon Kumo said his dismissal was since it cannot stand any test of litigation.

According to him, it was childish for all those used in the illegality , to have turned Senator Danjuma Goje  to APC in the State as stated in their petitions and letter.

“How on earth is  an offence to buy vehicle for somebody it pleases one and displeases  another person as childishly stated in their allegation ? , he asked .

He disclosed that Goje as an ordinary mortal, tried all he could to stop him from coming to the House of Representatives on the platform of APC in 2019 but failed, saying, “he will also fail in his bid to discredit him within the party and by extension , his constituents and electorates in the state “.

“Remember, a similar futile method was recently used in to get the National Chairman of the party out of the way but melted out in the of law , the same way the Gombe childish plot will be thrown away if reasons are not allowed to prevail now,” he stressed .
