Gombe State Governor Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has led a delegation of state government officials on a condolence visit to the family of Durbin Gombe kingmakers in Gombe emirate over the demise of his elder sister, Hajiya Ruqayya Abubakar, popularly known as Hajiya Adda.
The Governor who described the late Hajiya Ruqayya as a generous woman who impacted positively in the lives of many said her death has left a huge vacuum, not only in her immediate family but the state at large.
Governor Yahaya enjoyed the family she left behind to keep her memory alive by upholding the legacy of generosity and the good character she bequeathed.
He prayed Allah to forgive her sins and grant her Aljannatil Firdaus.
The Governor was accompanied on the visit by his Chief of Staff Alhaji Abubakar Inuwa Kari, Principal Private Secretary Alhaji Usman Kamara, Executive Secretary Gombe State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Alhaji Sa’adu Hassan and Alhaji Buba Share among others.
