Gombe state Governor, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya has inaugurated 9 man Task Force committee on health sector reform in the state.
Governor Inuwa stated this while speaking during the inauguration of the committee at Government House Gombe on Monday.
He task to review the operational framework on human resource for health sector vis a vis the disposition of the workforce across all the tiers of the health system in the state.
Alhaji Yahaya urged the Committee to also suggest and implement ways of bridging the health workforce gap and to conduct a rapid need assessment of physical and operation of key health facilities.
The committee would be led by the former Chief Medical Director Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe , Prof Usman Aliyi El-Nafaty as chairman and Hajiya Zainab Idris Haruna to serve as secretary.
