Gombe Gov seeks support of TetFund on tertiary education

In order to improve the education sector, Gombe state Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has sought support of Tertiary Education Trust Fund, (TetFund) in tertiary education in the state.

This was contained in a press statement signed and made available to Journalists in Gombe by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity Samaila Uba Misilli.

The Governor who commended TetFund for its support to tertiary education in the state, solicited for more assistance in his administration’s quest to revamp and reposition the education sector in Gombe state at all levels.

He said “there are a lot of challenges with the education sector in Gombe state hence his proactive and sustained efforts in finding solution through the support of relevant agencies such as TetFund and UBEC.”

The statement said, the Executive Secretary of TetFund Professor Sulaiman Bogoro who received the Governor in his office, expressed pleasure with Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya’s visit, saying his coming is an indication of his administration’s priority.

He assured Governor Yahaya of TetFund’s readiness to continue to render support to tertiary institutions in Gombe state in line with its mandate.
