Gombe: Gov Yahaya to inaugurate 6th state assembly Friday

Gombe state Governor, Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya has issues proclamation for inauguration of 6th State House of Assembly first sitting to holds on Friday, 14th June 2019.

This was contain in a Press statement signed and made available to Journalists in by Ismaila Uba MIsilli Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Governor, said the proclamation  is in line with the powers vested on him by the Constitution as the state Executive Governor.

“The Governor acted pursuant to the powers bestowed upon him by Section 105, Subsection 3 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, as amended and all powers enabling him in that behalf.

The proclamation reads: “Whereas it is provided in Section 105 Subsection 3 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, as amended, that the person elected as Governor of a State shall have powers to issue a Proclamation for the holding of the First Session of the House of Assembly of the State concerned immediately after his being sworn in.

“Now, therefore, I, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Governor of Gombe State of Nigeria, in exercise of powers bestowed upon me by Section 105 Subsection 3 aforesaid, and of all powers enabling me in that behalf, hereby proclaim that the First Session of the Sixth (6th) Assembly of Gombe State House of Assembly shall hold on Friday, June 14th, 2019 at 10 a.m. in Gombe State House of Assembly Complex”.
