Ahead of 29 May 2019 swearing in, Gombe state Governor elect, Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Yahya has inaugurated a 30 member inauguration committee.
Alhaji Yahya while speaking during the inauguration of the committee in Gombe said the committee would be led by Senator Joshua Lidani as the chairman and Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki Jalo former National Youth leader All Progressive Congress (APC) to serve as the Secretary of the committee.
The Governor inaugurated the committee alongside other five specialized committees namely venue and entertainment, transport and logistics, security, publicity and medical committees.
Alhaji Yahya said the term and reference of the committee is to ensure smooth conduct of swearing in ceremony on May 29th.
He said the committee members were to liase with the committee constituted by outgoing administration for a successful swearing in.
According to him, “the committee members were carefully selected; most of them were elected members of State House and National Assembly.”
In his response Mr Joshua Lidani chairmen of the committee thanked the Governor elect for finding them worthy to serve the state in that capacity.
He ensure the Governor of their readiness to work assiduously to ensure the success of tax given to them.
Committees on protocol, venue and entertainment would led by Aishatu Jibir Dukku Chairperson, Dr. Mohammed Isa Umar Deputy Chairman and Alhaji Safiyanu Faruk Secretary, transport and logistics has Sadiq Ibrahim Kurba as Chairman , Abubakar August Secretary
Other committees are security which would led by AVM. Shehu Adamu Chairman and Yusuf Musa Danbayo as Secretary, publicity committee would be led by Abdul Musa Gombe as Chairman , Mr. Jack A. Tasha Deputy Chairman and Isma’ila Uba Misilli serve as Secretary. Dr. Habu Dahiru would chair medical committee with Benjamin Dikko as Secretary
