Permit me to ventilate my grievances over what I will call unnecessary distraction created by the current governor of Kwara state, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq. The action exhibited via the demolition order by the governor has already drawn the state back. He has by his own hand created a four-year project and now, he has it to contend with.
Come to think of it, if the governor wanted to start a family war with the Sarakis who are more grounded and popular than him and his household, why didn’t he start before now and see if any Kwaran would join him.
Truth is; Kwarans are not interested in their ego or superiority fights, he was elected through a popular mandate “Ootooge” to restore Kwara hope and not to fight the Sarakis who have imprinted their names anyway.
Our new governor, please strive to write your own family name too in gold. Stop this petty fights.
