Gov. Bello appoints Justice Mejebi Kogi acting CJ

Kogi state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Monday, appointed Justice Josiah Mejebi as the State Acting Chief Judge.

The governor while performing the swearing of the new Acting Chief Judge, charged the jurist to discharge justice without fear or favour.

He described the Acting Chief Judge as a man of impeccable character and urged him to sustain the feat, assuring that his administration would not renege in supporting  the Judiciary in the discharge of its mandate as one of the arms of government.

In his response, Justice Josiah Mejebi promised quick dispensation of justice under his leadership and  assured that the Judiciary under him would  uphold the tenets of unbiased judiciary.

Justice Josiah Mejebi takes over from Justice Olorunfemi, who retired last Sunday  after clocking 65 years.
