Gov. Buni saved APC from collapse – Jika

A Bauchi-born social commentator and politician, Alhaji Adamu Jika, has expressed satisfaction over what he described as leadership skills exhibited by the Governor of Yobe state, Mai Mala Buni .

Jika who is the Chairman of North East Network for Positive Change said the governor who doubles as the acting National Caretaker Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has eventually salvaged his party from imminent collapse within a shortest period.
Jika while speaking in an interview recalled that since the time Buni took over the reins of APC some political heavyweights who left have returned to the party with some known members in the opposition People Democratic Party (PDP) gradually finding their ways to the progressive party.

According to him, “Governor Buni has also made Yobe state a destination for investors despite the challenges of the insurgents, and he has institutionalised educational reforms by providing scholarship to Yobe indigenes. This is indeed the leadership narratives we all want to read about in the North East and the country in general.

“With these, governor Buni is a national asset, and has proved his capacity and credibility to handle multiple tedious tasks.”

He however, called on the people of the country and North East in particular to continue to pray for the success of the governor Buni as he takes this giant step to reposition the APC ahead of the 2023 presidential elections.
