Gombe state Governor Mohammad Inuwa Yahaya has commiserates with Senator Haruna Garba, a people Democratic Party Gubernatorial aspirant in the 2019 election in the state over his mother’s death
This was contained in a press statement signed and made available to Journalists in Gombe by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Mr Samaila Uba Misilli.
He said the Governor also attended the funeral prayers and burial rites in honour of the Senator Mother, Hajiya Hajara Jummai Hassan who died Saturday at the age of 104.
Mr Misilli said the funeral prayer which took place at the Bolari Juma’at mosque was also attended by Sen. Danjuma Goje, Emir of Deba, Senior district head of Gombe among other dignitaries.
He added that Governor Inuwa described the demise of the centenarian mother as a great loss, not only to her immediate family but the state as a whole.
“And he prayed Almighty Allah to grant her Aljannat Firdaus and comfort the family she left behind.
