Gov. Sule promises to clear outstanding LG staff salary in Nasarawa


Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state,  Thursday, said in no distance time the state government will clear the outstanding local government staff salary in the state.

He made the promised when he paid homage on the Emir of Nasarawa, Alhaji Ibrahim Jibril, as part of his continued tour marking two years in office in Nasarawa local government area of the state.
“I was hearing people complaining of lack of payment of local government staff salaries. By God’s grace, soon the state government will clear the salary owed by the local government councils,” Sule promised.

Sule however, appealed to the effected staff to be patient as his government is doing its best to improve on the welfare of civil servants.
Responding, the emir of Nasarawa appreciated the governor for his developmental strides across the state, especially on security, education, health and road construction.
The emir therefore, called on his subjects to support governor Sule’s administration to succeed and be law abiding.
