Gov. Sule sues for peace between Tiv and Jukun ethic nationalities

Governor Abdullahi  Sule of Nasarawa state Tuesday, called for peaceful coexistence among diverse ethnic nationalities in the North-central geopolitical zone in order to fight the spread of Covid-19 pandemic ravaging the globe.

He made the call at the opening of a joint security meeting between Benue and Taraba states in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital.

Governor Sule said prevailing realities, especially the Covid-19 Pandemic which has brought activities of humanity across the world to a standstill call for unity of purpose to fight the common enemy.

He called on the delegations from Benue and Taraba states at the meeting to be open minded and willing to forgive and let go of the past to allow peace to reign.

The Governor commended the two states for choosing Nasarawa state for the meeting to resolve the age long clashes between the Tiv and Jukun in the states.
