Electorates in Yobe North senatorial district have assured the gubernatorial Candidate under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Mai Mala Buni, of total support.
The party’s stalwarts made the pledge on Thursday at the flagging-off off campaign rally at Nguru in the state.
The secretary to the state government, Baba Mallam Wali, who hails from the area, called on the electorates to elect all APC candidates in order to continue reaping the dividends of democracy both at the federal and state levels.
Speaking on behalf of women folks, Hajiya Hajara Lawan, who is also the state commissioner of Women affairs, said women will continue to support APC government at all levels.
She called on the women to conduct themselves peacefully before, during and after the elections, adding that women and children are always at the receiving end of every crisis.
Buni, said his government would give priority to youth by empowering them through job creation in a bid to consolidate on what the present governor did in education, health, among others.
Balarabe D.J, alliy to a former gubernatorial aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the state, late Usman Albishir, who defected from PDP to APC was received at the rally.
