Govt honours staff for transparency, accountability

The Kano state government has honoured a management staff of the state Due Process Office for instilling transparency, accountability and judicious utilization of public resources in government business.
In his remarks while presenting them with letter of commendation, the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji, explained that the present administration in its quest to instill transparency considered it expedient to transform the project monitoring bureau to its present status as Due Process Bureau in accordance with the international law.
He then assured that, Kano state government is ever ready to continue honoring diligent and dedicated civil servants that contributed to the development of their sectors at all levels.
Responding on behalf of the management staff of the Bureau, the Permanent Secretary, Due Process Bureau, Engr Muhammad Adamu Musa, commended the state government under the leadership of Dr.
Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as well as MDAs in the state for the support and cooperation in the success recorded.
Those honoured include members of the Committee on Procurement Law, Committee on Due Process as well as members of Monitoring and Evaluation Guidelines Committee.
