Group blames insecurity on sabotage

Presidential Support Group Leaders Forum (PSGLF) yesterday blamed rise in insecurity on saboteurs amongst security agencies, adding that the plan is to distabilize the good works of the current administration.
Its National President Engineer Ignatius Ozara Ebuk, while speaking exclusively to Blueprint in Abuja, said Nigerians are aware of the truth concerning the unrest in the country.

He said, “Nigerians know there are people who have planned to sabotage the efforts of our President. From a large cross section of the nations view, the score cards shows that remarkable achievements have been recorded and there is transformation in all sectors.

“Ebola was a threat but it was managed and the situation brought under control. It is obvious some unpatriotic citizens have decided to make the nation ungovernable by their dastardly act of inhuman insensitive killings of innocent ones,” he added.
He noted that the security agencies as well as Joint Task Force (JTF) are equal to the tasks of combating terrorism, adding that but for their intervention, the situation would have been worse.
“We have an administration that has faced the security challenges squarely and we Nigerians are watching. It is obvious that they are working hard to frustrate this government but we jointly stand for our God given President of good will come 2015 to continue the  transformation Agenda.

“We as grassroot leaders forum, will support and vote massively for our President come 2015 and we believe he will win. We also congratulate our  President on his 57th birthday today and wish him long life to enable him transform our nation and take us to the next level,” he said.

Earlier, National Coordinator of the PDP female youths and students initiative Princess Uzochi Aghasili, denied that the support crowd at Jonathan’s declaration was rented.
“A golden fish has no hiding place if you are people oriented in your policies then the masses will pay you homage our president has done noble and solidarity was just a way of expressing our sincere appreciation and to urge him to continue the good work. He didn’t need to rent any crowd when the crowd wants him to run again,” she said.
