Group congratulates Nigerians, extols Buhari

The Grassroots Mobilisers for Buhari (GMB) has commended Nigerians and the presidency for the modest achievements recorded in the last three years of the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration under the leadership of Maigaskiya Muhammadu Buhari.
The commendation was given in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen by the National Matron of the group, Hajiya Fatima Mohammed Goni (Mama GMB) in Abuja yesterday.
She said Nigerians should appreciate the administration of President Buhari’s for the achievement recorded in the last three years, particularly in the areas of security, economy and agriculture among others.
According to Hajiya Goni, Buhari should be given credit for the national rebirth, especially in the fight against corruption and insurgency.
“We have no doubt that in the face of massive challenges in the area of economy, this administration has availed itself creditably.
The government has made efforts to revamp the economy, which has been battered by the consequences of over-dependence on oil as well as unprecedented looting of the treasury by the past administration.” Mama GMB said the efforts of President Buhari made the country to exit recession through concerted economic strategies.
She explained further that the country’s infrastructure has beengrowing day by day, adding that power generation has reached all time high of 7,000mw.
She added that Buhari is also doing the Second Niger Bridge, Ajaokuta Steel Company, which when fully resuscitated will fast track the nation’s economy and empower about 300, 000.
On the herdsmen, farmers’ clashes, the group said “Buhari is determined to end the crisis, not minding the fact that the clashes predate the present administration, urging Nigerians to have faith in the president’s ability to resolve the crisis.”
