Group donates campaign materials to Engr Wada

A group, Elite Support Group, with headquarter in Abuja, has donated gift items and campaign materials to the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) governorship candidate in the November 16 governorship poll in Kogi state, Engr Musa Wada.

Making the donation in Abuja Thursday, the group chairman and secretary, Comrade Anthony Mona and Okpanachi Amodu, respectively urged the Wada/Aro camp to look beyond the statutory security agencies and create a task force that would monitor each polling unit noting that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is prepared to rely on violence and intimidation as their winning strategies.

According to the communiqué it released after the presentation of the materials to Engr Wada, they said, “We have availed ourselves of the structures back home to work for your victory and as such we want to say that the gift items we came with to present to you are just samples for your endorsement as we have already sent home plenty for use during your campaign.

“Kogi people are ready and craving for change and only need assurance of safety of their lives in order to come out enmase to vote Yahaya Bello out of Lugard House. The people are wiser now as they know the election in November is not about PDP versus APC, but an election between payments of salaries versus hunger and vice versa.

It said the group therefore decided to endorse the PDP candidate for the November 16 governorship election.
