National Chairman of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Alhaji Ganiyu Galadima has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to guard the implementation of year 2021 budget jealously to ensure better performance and for Nigerians to see the impact.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday signed into law the 2021 budged as passed by the National Assembly.
But in his reaction to the development in Abuja, Galadima told our Correspondent that it is a thing of joy that the annual budget has been brought due to the understanding between the executive and the legislative arm, adding that it was a great departure between the executive and the legislature in the eight Assembly.
the Kwara-born politician said: “In the true sense of the Presidential System of Government there used to be communication to assuage interests. Nigerian budget now running from January to December.
“My expectations are that the government will guard the implementation of the budget jealousy to ensure performance in order to put smiles on the face of the people.”
Galadima also called on the federal government to ensure that all the leakages are blocked.
“Similarly, all leakages of sabotage of the budget performance and corruption should be avoided. Those are the two monsters that could prevent the implementation of good intentions of Government. I pray that the Executive lead by the President will summon the will capacity to translate all the intentions in budget to reality.”
