Suspected gunmen Monday evening kidnapped a banker and a staff of RCC Construction Company at a quarry site n the Ijebu -Ode – Ibadan road in Ibarapa.
It was gathered that the gunmen reportedly stormed the quarry site shooting sporadically into the air before kidnapping the two people.
A sources at the quarry said the kidnapped persons were identified as Popoola Isaac, a staff of RCC and Ismail Adeoye, a staff of Polaris Bank .
The kidnap of the two , according to sources, was immediately reported at the Idi Ayunre Police station.
Contacted, the Oyo state Police Command Public Relations Officer (PPRO), CSP Lawrence Fadeyi, confirmed the abduction.
CSP Fadeyi said the command is presently trailing the suspected gunmen and would ensure that the kidnapped persons regain freedom.
