Leader of One Love Family, Sat Guru Maharaj Ji, has enjoined Nigerians to remain united irrespective of the challenges confronting the nation. He made the call at the weekend while marking the 37th anniversary of his mission as the Perfect Living Master of this era at his Spiritual Village, Ibadan. Speaking with journalists, Guru lambasted those fanning the ember of war and warned them to desist from acts capable of threatening the unity of Nigeria. He said it was sad that while efforts were being made to turn around the economy, a section of northern youths issued a quit notice to the Ndigbo in the northern part of the country.

“The Nigerian Constitution stipulates that every Nigerian has the right to live in any part of the country, interact and do business within the ambit of the law and are free to exercise their beliefs, opinions and interest towards building a strong progressive virile and strong nation. “Therefore, this illegal order by implication, extends to not only to the Ibos but all black people living in the north be it Yoruba, Itsekiri, Ijaw, Ogoni and others because once you remove a tyre, battery of kick-starter from a car, it renders it broken. “We are glad that some eminent Nigerian leaders and experts from all walks of life, including writers, have voiced out total opposition cum warning to those asking Igbo and all southerners to quit because it is a threat to peace and stability of the country,” he said. “We are asking fellow southerners in the North and dear northerners in the South not to take laws into their hands, but to report any suspicious movements to government agencies for immediate security attention. Please be assured that nobody can tamper with your life.”
