Members of Nigeria Association of Patent and Propertary Medcine Dealers (NAPPMED), Gwagwalada chapel, have presented a prestigious award to the DPO of Gwagwalada, CSP Wilson Dankwano.
The event which took place Friday at Jeparo Hotel, Gwagwalada, in has attendance obusiness men, traditional rulers and the political class, among others.
Presenting the award during the association’s twenty million Naira multipurpose hall project launch, the chairman, Mr Ayogu Oliver said the leadership of the group deemed it fit to honour the DPO for exhibiting exemplary leadership qualities.
In a related development, Anchor, a force for positive change of family worship centre, men’s fellowship has presented another award of excellence to the DPO.
Responding, the award recipient, Dankwano remarked that the awards came at the time when crime rate in Gwagwalada and environs reduced to the barest minimum.
The Chief Supritendent of Police encouraged members of the public to work closely with the police at all times just as he tasked the residents to regard crime fighting and control as a collective responsibility.
He called on residents to key into the idea of community policing even as he urged religious and community leaders and PCRC members to sensitise residents on the significance of providing useful information to the security agents in their domain.
