“I don’t have any personal relationship with Dr Jamilu Isyaku Gwamna, and I believe none of the other parents does. But out of sheer generosity, he is sponsoring our children to study at various universities at far away Morocco. He also paid for their accommodation including feeding and other necessaries.

“I, on behalf of the parents of all the ten students, thank Dr Jamilu for his kind gesture and pray to Allah to grant him all his desires protect him and open doors for him for immeasurable bounties. For us parents of the beneficiaries, we’ll always remember him in our prayers, because we need people of his kind to succeed.

“I seize this opportunity to call on our wealthy individuals to emulate Sardaunan Gombe in touching the lives of the common man in society. Today, wealthy individuals only send their kids to schools abroad while the under-privileged children are left battling with the poor system of education in the country. But for Dr Jamilu, the reverse is the case, the son of a poor will go to school overseas,” he said.

Also commenting, Special Adviser to Gwamna Sani Abubakar Banki said  the Sardauna Gombe has been helping people in different aspects, adding that this is one of the many instances that didn’t attract the attention of the media.
