Gwar: We’ll flatten Anges of Togo

Enyimba striker, Sibi Gwar, has said his side’s Caf Champions League’s relatively unknown opponents, Anges de Notse of Togo relative, will not pose any difficulty for the team from Aba.
The two-time African champions will host the Togolese side in the first fixture of the continent prime clubs competition on Sunday at the Aba Township Stadium.
Gwar said his side have prepared adequately to kick off their African title campaign on a winning note.
“We’re putting everything right to record a convincing win on Sunday even though we don’t know much about the visiting side.
“I don’t think it does us any good worrying our heads over who they are but to strengthen our resolve to win well so as to make the reverse fixture a bit easier.
“We’ve been in closed camp at Ota, Ogun state for some weeks where we took off to participate in the just concluded Glo Premier League pre-season tournament in Abuja which we emerged victorious.
“The pre-season tourney has actually prepared us given the quality of opposition to face the Togolese side.
“Our target is to win as many as four unreplied goals and I will like to play a decisive role if given the go-ahead by the coaches in the victory campaign,” said the former Niger Tornadoes’ goal poacher to supersport.com.
Enyimba will be the guests of the Togolese side in a week’s time at the Stade Anges de Notse for the reverse fixture.
Winners of the two-legged encounter will progress to the round of 32 of the annual elite club competition.
