The title of Dan Ma’jen is among the high grade titles in the Daular Usumaniyya. Alhaji Abu Dasuki the new Dan Ma’jen is the son of the18th Sultan of Sokoto, Ibrahim Dasuki, and the great grandson of the famous Jahadist Shehu Usmanu Danfodio. He belongs to the Buhari Danshehu Royal House family.
The title of Dan Ma’jen is mostly given to only the royal kinfolks. Abu Dasuki is the second Dan Ma’jen since Aliyu Mai Saje. The title is only for those who contributed excellently to the development of humanity and demonstrated unmatched qualities that are worthy of emulation.
