Hajj 2020: NAHCON allots 1,300 seats to Plateau pilgrims board

The Plateau State Muslim PiIgrims Welfare Board has commenced the collection of deposits for the 2020 hajj fare.


The board Executive Secretary, Barr. Auwal Abdullahi, said, Monday in a press statement that intendlng pilgrims are to pay 1.5 Million Nalra in three installments. 


The release signed by the board Information officer, Namu Suleiman Sanusi, said collection commenced last week at the Board.


“Intending Pilgrims are to deposit a minimum of Five Hundred Thousand Nalra (N500,000) as instatement payments and by the end of March, 2020, the deposit is expected to reach 1.5 Million,” he said. 


According Barrister Auwal, slots of the 2020 Hajj is Strictly on first come first serve basis, adding that the board has received 1,300 slots from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) for the 2020 as against 1,111 slots of last year. 


He called on all those wishing to perform the 2010 Hajj to collect bank teller at the Board Headquarters, so as to give NAHCON enough time to complete preparations for a hitch-free exercise. 

He said the administration will not relent on its efforts to deliver on the promises of good governance and prudent management of resources for all.
