Handball Nations Cup: Nigeria loses classifications game

Nigeria’s handball national team suffered a 30-24 defeat to Guinea in a classification match at the ongoing Africa Handball Nations Cup in Tunisia.


The already eliminated Nigerians who lost two and won one of their group games could not match the Guineans who dominated proceedings throughout as they fell to a third loss in the competition.
Nigeria national handball team started their campaign with a loss, as they were defeated by Angola losing 30-24, tin Tunis, Tunisia on Thursday.


They later on fell to Gabon as they came up short in a narrow 26-24 loss on last Friday before recording their only victory against Libya 31-24 goals.
Nigeria will play another Kenya in a battles of losers on Wednesday.
