Happening Now: Tinubu, 33 Ekiti APC governorship aspirants in closed door meeting

The national leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is currently meeting with all the 33 aspirants contesting the party ticket in Ekiti state.

The party has, however, fixed the botched Ekiti governorship primary election to continue this week Friday.
APC spokesman Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, confirmed this during a press conference today at the national secretariat in Abuja.
Recall that the APC governorship primary election was aborted last Saturday due to violence among the party delegates and agents which forced the committee to postponed the election.
There were accusations and counter-accusations between Minister of Mines and Steal, Kayode Fayemi, Babafemi Ojudu and Bimbo Daramola over the crisis.
Blueprint gathered that the ongoing meeting between Tinubu and the aspirants might prevail on some of the contenders to step down for each other to allow peaceful run of the exercise.
