Hayche, a hospitality entity over the weekend hosted friends, guests and clients to a sumptuous dinner in Abuja, in commemoration of its 10 years in the industry.
As early as 6pm on Saturday, there was a red carpet reception and photo-shot before the guests were ushered into a well lit and nicely decorated dining arena.
The hospitality company with about 19 other networks across Africa treated their guests to continental dishes, beverages and other drinks while a Disc jockey was on hand to entertain them with both old and new tracks back to back.
Giving opening remarks at the occasion, the Chief Executive Officer Hayche, Aisha Yusuf, said she delved into the hospitality industry having discovered that African was being under promoted, underutilised and underappreciated despite so much to explore. The feat achieved by the hospitality she noted was a result of hard work and focus.
According to her, over the years, the entity has not only integrated tourism into its whole plans, she added that there is now digital, media arm and academy which has now become a platform for providing jobs for an army of youths in Africa.
“Now we have diversified from hospitality and tourism into communications, advocacy programs, development solutions and digital diagnosing, carrying out assessment and proffer solutions going forward,” she said.
Yusuf then enjoined the youths to discover their passion, assuring that the company would continue to engage and empower Africans, especially the youths.
In a keynote address, Mr Andrew Igbo hailed the CEO for her vision, saying that she has succeeded in taking the hospitality business from being just a dream to where it is today.
Also speaking, the Director, Ford Foundation, Dr. Chichi Aniagolu, praised Yusuf for her tenacity and craves to build an institution, urging other women to emulate her brilliance and bravery.

In a short remark, a guest, Shihan Gills Nyanganji, a martial artist, eulogised the hospitality for its support, saying martial art was poised to push the narrative across Africa.
