I want to use this medium to appeal to the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, to come to our aid in the Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State concerning athe deplorable state of our roads especially the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.
From Owode Ijako to Ifo, the road is not motorable during both the dry and rainy seasons. The road has become a death trap. From Ifo to Sango, a journey of 30 minutes, one would spend six to eight hours. Incidentally, this is a federal road leading to the economic hub of the state with a lot of benefits to the people and the Ogun State Government which has sadly turned a blind eye to them.
It’s yet another rainy season, the minister should just assist us as many inhabitants get their daily bread from within.
