A Kaduna state High Court Judge, Justice Bashir Sukola is dead.
Officials of the state Ministry of Justice and family sources, who confirmed his passage said he died at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Shika, Zaria, Tuesday night after a brief illness.
Late Sukola, who is survived by a wife and many children, has
since been buried according to Islamic rites.
Thousands of sympathisers had thronged his family house at Bayajida/Kano road where ‘Janaiza’ prayer was held to pay the last respect to the legal icon before his burial at Bachama cemetery, Tudun Wada area of the state metropolis.
Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai was among the early callers at Sukola’s family house.
