Housing: FG partners private firms for mass delivery – REDAN

In a move to actualise its policy of mass Housing, the  Federal Government  of Nigeria is partnering with private firms in that direction..

Making the disclosure to journalists in Abuja Friday,  the Treasurer of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria ( REDAN) , FCT Chapter, Dr Gbadewole Amos , said required counterpart funding  is being provided by the Federal Government for the actualisation of the policy .

Dr Amos who is also the Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) of the Crown Allied Global Realty and Homes,  said Nigerians will begin to see results of such partnership across the federation from 2022.

Accordimg to him, REDAN  is working with many other agencies in Nigeria to ensure that the Real Estate industry is well regulated in the country to enable Nigerians get quality and affordable housing units in all parts of the country.

His words: ”  All our activities in the Association is tailored towards ensuring that our clients are put in the center of attraction and that they have value for their money.

“We provide affordable housing in various parts of Nigeria and the unique part of our business is that we have various facilities that are designed to meet your needs and requirements.

”  Our payment process is not a back breaking one as we have options where you can pay as low as 50% in the first installment and you are allowed to spread the remaining over the space of 6months to 1 year

“We also have some estates that are cheaper whereby you can acquire a plot for the rate of five hundred thousand naira, two bedroom bungalow in Lagos which you can get for 8 million naira, there bedroom for 10 million naira.

“All our houses, no matter how little the price is had been tailored to be technological conscious as they are constructed with state of the art technological tools and gadgets to give their occupants a great living experience.

“ The houses we sell for 45million in Abuja are sold for 60million by other firms , we have reasonably cut out prices and we are also opened to negotiation”.

Discussing his recent election as the treasurer of the Real Estate Developer Association of Nigeria (REDAN), Abuja Chapter  and how he has been able to manage this with his business firm.

 He explained that the new office is an added feather for him and has in no way hindered his business enterprise

 “ No developer in Nigeria can secure loan from any Federal Mortgage bank in Nigeria without being a member of the Association.

“The Association over the years has proven effective in dealing with illegal developers who are out there to create insanity in the industry.

“REDAN  is working with many other agencies in Nigeria to ensure that the Real Estate industry is well regulated in Nigeria.

“ All our activities in the Association is tailored towards ensuring that our clients are put in the center of attraction and that they have value for their money”, he said
